At Craic On Travels, our priority is creating authentic travel experiences that leave a positive impact on the countries we visit – bringing people together, supporting local communities, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
Our trips are for people who are curious with a sense of adventure. For those who are sick of waiting for everyone else to start living.

Craic on Travels is an Irish travel company that runs on pure passion for travel, and the belief that the world is far less scary & far more amazing than you ever imagined!
Created by Colin & Isabelle, we set out to create the travel company we always wanted: fun, ethical, authentic and designed for the people who want something real but may not have someone to go with.
We believe travel should be about more than ticking places off a list and more about connecting with the people and cultures you encounter, supporting local communities, and sharing the experience with others.
Our trips are for anyone with a curious spirit – whether you’re coming solo, with a friend, or just looking for something new and life-changing. You’ll explore the world while sharing the craic with a bunch of like-minded new friends who’ll feel like family by the end.
With group sizes ranging from just 12–18 people, you’ll actually get to know your fellow travellers. Our trips don’t feel like package holidays – they feel like exploring a new country with a bunch of friends you just haven’t met yet.
We create spaces where you can make real, meaningful friendships with people you can stay friends with and continue adventuring with long after you go home. We’ve had Craic On reunions in Ireland and overseas, ski trips, festivals, and so many people have met some of their best friends through our trips.
We prioritise working directly with local guides and suppliers, giving you the chance to connect with the people who know each destination best. They become part of your extended travel family, sharing their language, culture and local knowledge in a way you simply wouldn’t get travelling alone.
Our Give Back Programme means that every trip supports meaningful local initiatives – from helping dog shelters in Thailand, to supporting the fight against human trafficking in Vietnam, and amplifying Indigenous voices in Guatemala. Giving back to the places we visit is at the heart of everything we do.
Over 12 unforgettable days, we will experience the magic, colour, and culture of Mexico. Start in vibrant Mexico City, exploring Frida Kahlo’s world and floating through the canals of Xochimilco, and eating the most amazing food. Journey south to Oaxaca, where we will visit markets and the villages of Sierra Norte.
Then head for the mountains and markets of Sierra Norte, taste artisanal mezcal, and unwind (& surf) on the beaches of Puerto Escondido. Round off the adventure in Chiapas, where canyons, waterfalls, and indigenous villages reveal an often unexplored, wilder, more authentic side of Mexico.
This will be a once-in-a-lifetime trip you’ll never forget.
