Itinerary
Day 1 - Ho Chi Minh City Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s lively financial hub buzzing with energy. After your arrival to your hotel, enjoy a free day to recover from your journey or dive straight into the city’s vibrant and chaotic streets! In the evening we will meet for a welcome dinner and get to know each other.
Day 2 - Mekong Delta Day Trip
Escape the city and head to the famous Mekong Delta in Ben Tre Province. Cruise along scenic waterways and visit local workshops. Sip tea with tropical fruits at a village home, then enjoy a Xe Loi ride or bike through picturesque lanes. A riverside lunch and serene sampan ride cap off this idyllic day before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3 - Cu Chi Tunnels & Drive to Mui Ne
Step back in time at the Cu Chi Tunnels, exploring the fascinating underground tunnel network used during the Vietnam War. For the adventurous, crawl through narrow passageways to experience history firsthand. Then, we venture ahead to Mui Ne (3hrs), where tranquil beaches and stunning sunsets await—feel free to enjoy a cocktail as you unwind for the evening!
Day 4 - Mui Ne Sand Dunes & Night Train
Begin the day at Mui Ne’s iconic red & white sand dunes, where you can slide down the slopes or simply enjoy the views. Visit the red dunes for striking photo opportunities, and join in on optional sand boarding (approx €2) or ATV/dune buggy ride (approx €30) and stop at a fishing village to watch local life in action. Explore lush dragon fruit farms before boarding an overnight train to Danang.
Day 5 - Arrival in Danang & Transfer to Hoi An
Arrive in Danang and transfer to the charming, ancient town of Hoi An, famous for its lantern-lit streets and riverside cafes. Spend the day soaking in its old-world charm, wandering through narrow streets and stalls, or relaxing on the nearby beach only 10 minutes away.
Day 6 - Cooking Class and Spinning Boats
Spend the morning in Hoi An on the famous spinning boats followed by an authentic Vietnamese cooking class trying all sorts of delicious, traditonal cuisine. Enjoy a free afternoon shopping or strolling around the gorgeous lantern-filled streets.
Day 7 - Drive to Quang Binh (Phong Nha)
Bid farewell to Hoi An after one last morning and embark on a scenic drive to Quang Binh, passing rice paddies and small villages along the way. Arrive in this peaceful region and enjoy a quiet evening to unwind at your hotel or explore the area’s local charm.
Day 8 - Caves, Ducks and More
Enjoy a free morning or join an optional tour (approx €35) of the caves in this region. For thrill-seekers, we have the option to visit the Dark Cave which offers ziplining, kayaking, and a fun mud bath experience. Afterwards, we will have the option to visit the famous Duck Stop and enjoy dinner before boarding a nightbus to Ninh Binh (6.5hrs).
Day 9 - Ninh Binh Exploration
Wake up in Ninh Binh and dive into its natural beauty. We will start the day with a cycling tour and a visit to the Mua Caves with an optional hike up 700 stairs to a view point. In the afternoon you can relax, or take an optional excursion with a boat ride through the Tam Coc Caves.
Day 10 - Halong Bay Cruise
Set sail for Halong Bay on a private VIP cruise ship experience, exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site. Kayak through lagoons, swim at secluded beaches, and soak up the views during a sunset party. Finish the evening Vietnamese style – with Karaoke!
Day 11 - Halong Bay to Hanoi
Get your zen on as we start the day with a Tai Chi session as the sun rises over Halong Bay. Visit a fishing village to take a glimpse at traditional life in Vietnam, then enjoy a farewell lunch as your cruise returns to shore. Transfer to Hanoi for an afternoon of exploring the city’s vibrant Old Quarter or enjoying its famous coffee culture (best coffee in the world might we add!).
Day 12 - Free Day in Hanoi
Spend your last full day in Vietnam exploring Hanoi’s charming streets and visiting landmarks, or relaxing at your hotel. Make sure to check out hotspots like Train Street, the Note Cafe or stock up on last minute shopping, and we may or may not finish the night with some karaoke!
Day 13 - Departure from Hanoi
After breakfast, check out and say your goodbyes. Reflect on your incredible Vietnamese adventure and start planning your next trip!

What is the age range for this trip?
The average age on many of our trips ranges from 23–35, but anyone 18+ with a sense of adventure is welcome! We recommend customers possess a reasonable level of fitness and adaptability to match the ‘active’ nature of our trips, as there’ll be numerous activities and frequent travelling to get to each location on the itinerary.
What sort of accommodation will there be?
