Special Booking Conditions

Our special booking conditions apply to the following Craic On Travels specialty trips:

• All Uganda trips
• Mexico: Día De Muertos

Uganda: Wildlife & Culture

For this tour, the following special booking conditions apply, overriding our standard booking conditions:

Clause 3 Amendment– Cancellation by the Customer

• Each installment made via the payment plan is refundable within 7 days of payment (cooling-off period)
• After this period, our cancellation charges apply. These reflect the actual costs and commitments incurred by Craic On Travels with our local suppliers, as well as the low likelihood of replacing a traveller by the time of cancellation.
  
  

Cancellation Fees based on time from departure (as a percentage of total trip cost):

• More than 180 days before departure – Loss of deposit only.
  
  
• 180–120 days before departure – 50% cancellation fee (excluding gorilla trekking permit fee)
  
  
• 120–90 days before departure – 75% cancellation fee (excluding gorilla trekking permit fee)
  
  
• Less than 90 days before departure – 100% cancellation fee

If you choose to pay the full balance at the time of booking and later cancel, the cancellation fee will be calculated in line with the cancellation schedule above. The same non-refundable rules apply as if payments had been made in installments.

Deposit
The initial deposit is non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for credit towards another Craic On Travels trip.

Gorilla Trekking Permit
Please note that any payments for the Gorilla Trekking permit add-on are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, as this fee is irrecoverable once it has been processed. The due date to send payment for your Gorilla trekking permit is 30 days from date of booking.

Other Amendments

Exclusion of Promotional Vouchers
Please note that this trip is not eligible for redemption of any Craic On Travels promotional vouchers (including, but not limited to, vouchers issued as part of social media competitions or giveaways).

Travel Insurance Protection
Travel insurance is mandatory for all Craic On Travels guests. It is highly recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance in place that covers guests in the event of trip cancellations, either by the guest or by Craic On Travels.

Mexico: Día De Muertos
