Holi in India should be on EVERY true adventure lovers bucket list.

Our India Holi trip is one of our most popular experiences, hand-crafted after our founders spent 6 months travelling through India and falling in love with the chaos, colour, food and culture. You’ll celebrate the magic of Holi, visit the Taj Mahal, explore forts and palaces, sleep under the stars in the desert and experience India in a way that feels fun, safe, social and unforgettable.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

Welcome to India! Arrive in Delhi, meet the team and transfer to the hotel to settle in after your journey. The rest of the day is free to relax, recover from the flight and get your first taste of India.

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi, with highlights including India Gate, a photo stop at the Red Fort, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and a pedal rickshaw ride through the colourful lanes of Chandni Chowk. Later, we board our overnight train to Bikaner.

We arrive into Bikaner in the morning before exploring. Afterwards, we continue by road to Jaisalmer, arriving in the evening for a relaxed night in the Golden City.

Spend the day exploring Jaisalmer’s golden fort, old merchant havelis and beautiful desert architecture. In the evening, we head out by jeep into the Thar Desert for a special  desert sunset and glamping experience.

After breakfast, we travel to Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City. We’ll visit the mighty Mehrangarh Fort and explore the historic blue streets around the old city, with time for markets and sunset views.

Today we make our way to Udaipur, with the option to visit the stunning Ranakpur Jain Temples en route. Once we arrive in Udaipur, the rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the slower pace of the City of Lakes.

This is the big one! Celebrate Holi first in the streets in Udaipur, followed by celebrations with a local family using herbal colours, with snacks and a local lunch included. Expect colour, music, joy and one of the most unforgettable days of the whole trip.

Today we explore Udaipur, including the beautiful City Palace and a sunset cruise on Lake Pichola. It’s a dreamy day of palaces, lakes and views that show why Udaipur is one of Rajasthan’s most loved cities.

After breakfast, we travel to Jaipur, the famous Pink City. Once we arrive, the rest of the day is free to settle in, relax or begin exploring at your own pace.

After breakfast, we travel to Agra, home of the world-famous Taj Mahal. Once we arrive, there will be time to check in and relax before the option to visit Sheroes Café for dinner.

Surfing? Sunbathing? Last minute shopping? Today is your chance to rest and enjoy our last day at the beach. We’ll meet for our last dinner together as a group in the evening.

Start the day with an unforgettable sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the most iconic monuments in the world. After breakfast, we travel back to Delhi for our final night.

Enjoy a relaxed final breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Delhi International Airport for your onward flight. Time to say goodbye after an unforgettable 13 days of colour, culture, chaos, connection and craic.
