Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cebu
Touching down in Cebu, a vibrant city of history and culture, you’ll be greeted by our friendly van ready to whisk you away to your hotel. Take some time to unwind before going for a group dinner (and maybe karaoke..)
Day 2: Cebu Historical Tour
Today we explore the incredibly rich colonial history and culture of Cebu. We know you’ll find the blending of South East Asian and Spanish Culture fascinating, and it will give you amazing context for the trip and experiencing the Philippines.
Day 3: Cebu City to Moalboal
Today we have a 3 hour journey to Moalboal. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, swimming at our private beach and exploring some of the incredible nearby restaurants.
Day 4: Sardines Run
Today we will experience something absolutely once in a lifetime – snorkelling with millions of sardines. We will stop to see some turtles a long the way if we are lucky too!
Day 5: Canyoneering
Today is a HUGE one for adventure lovers. We’ll be canyoneering – jumping off rocks, swinging off ropes and so much more at Kasawan Canyon. While this is absolutely a big one for adrenaline junkies, there is an option to skip the jumps and swings and float down the canyon too if that’s not your vibe. And for anyone who would rather stay at home by the pool, that’s always an option too!
Day 6: Cebu to El Nido Isla Experience
We will have a VERY early morning (don’t worry, you can sleep on the bus) as we make our way to the airport in Cebu to fly to Palawan! Get ready to experience paradise as today we make our way for our off-grid island experience at Isla Darocotan! We cannot wait to show you guys ACTUAL paradise. This is the perfect time to disconnect, swim, RELAX, read your book and connect with nature.
Day 7: La Isla to El Nido
Today (day 2 of our Isla experience) we embark on an snorkel adventure at an incredible shipwreck site. Get a glimpse into Filipino culture with a hands-on cooking demonstation and village tour. In the evening we’ll relax by a bonfire, for an evening of fun (and maybe a song or two) under the stars.
Day 8: Isla Darocotan
Today we make our way for back to El Nido. Explore the bustling el Nido town (markets, restaurants, nightlife!) from our amazing central hostel location.
Day 9: Island Hopping
Today is one of the absolute highlights of the trip. Island Hopping around El Nido has to be seen to be believed. We will be kayaking through crystal clear water, snorkelling beside a starfish island, and relaxing on white sand beaches.
Day 10: Nacpan Beach and Zipline
Spend the day somewhere voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – Nacpan beach. This evening we’ll end our trip with some more adrenaline – a sunset Zipline between two islands!
Followed by our final goodbye dinner tonight!
Day 10: Farewell
Say goodbye to our slice of paradise and to our new best friends – Till next time!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the age range for this trip?
Most of our trips have an average age of 21-45. However, anyone with a sense of adventure is welcome (though must be 18+). This trip features lots of long travel days and some rustic & shared hostel accommodation so we recommend having a good sense of adventure.
What sort of accommodation will be staying in?
We stay in shared accommodation in twin rooms, and dorm rooms in boutique hostels, sharing with other members of the trip. We try to split the rooms by gender but sometimes there may be times where you might share with a member of the opposite sex (only in dormitories, never in twin sharing.) If this is something you would be uncomfortable with let us know and we can help to accommodate! On this trip we also stay in an off grid island experience with no AC or wifi in the rooms – this is often peoples highlight of the trip but we recommend being prepared for this!
Is this trip for me?
If you’re looking for an ‘active’ holiday full of daily adventures and new experiences, then this trip is for you (there will be plenty of time allotted to relax also so don’t worry!). Our itineraries are designed to make the most of your time, offering unique experiences you might not consider on a typical trip, meaning there will be long travel days in certain parts. If you’re ready to explore, stay ‘reasonably’ active, and step outside your comfort zone, then you’ll love traveling with us!
What airport do I fly into?
We recommend flying into Cebu and out of El Nido. You can also book return flights from Cebu and an internal flight back to Cebu on the last day. You can arrive in Cebu any time on Day 1. We recommend booking your flight back from el Nido in the afternoon or evening of the last day.
